Vesta the silent

This is Vesta a fire-fairy I met one day I was meditating.

She came together with her sister Hestia; they sought refuge in my protected circle, because they were persecuted by their tribe, which believed that Vesta was a bringer of misfortune, because she is dumb. That is of cause nonsense, she is the sweetest little thing, always trying to help and doing the right thing.

Because she has been trough some awful things she is so shy. I couldn't persuade her to look at me, while I drew her. That is why she is looking to the side, but I kind a like it. Her dress is imitating flames, her wings are from the female dragon fly, only male fire-fairies has the blue wings of the male dragon fly, and her jewellery is decorated with fire-stones. And a little note her shoes were supposed to be black, but I figured that out after I drew them red, so that's why they have a redish look.

Vesta is named after the Roman goddess of fire Vesta and Hestia after the Greek Hestia, I'm going to draw Hestia too, but I have some things to finish first, and maybe by the time I'm done, she has figured out to sit still long enough for me to draw her. She has a very different nature than her sister, and can hardly stand still for a moment.
